Doing the tourist thing around Tumbarumba

Hello again, sick of me yet lol.........we moved on but still within Tumbarumba and found this free camp spot called Henry Angel campsite henry-angel-flat info and even has flushing loos........

I did a bit of hand washing like the good old days in a little tub we have.......see all hanging in the warm bloody hot sun lol

Off we went to do the touristy bit at this neat place......

Not many words needed on this post......inside the hut

Crafty friends may enjoy this post, but not Gordon lol

knitted tea cosy's how quaint.....

Hey Andi how neat is all of this......

Oh imagine living in these times.....

all the different pegs.....I still prefer wooden ones......they last!! and I even have some of the dolly pegs lol

I know some crocheter's out there will love these intricate works.......

sorry for blurry snap, but cute dog tape measure lol

Just like walking through my own childhood.......

Now these sheep were hanging around the machinery exhibit and looking a tad nervous lol

ancient bath.....

Billy cans.....

Off they go.......

Trying to get bad pics of the machinery lol

baa baa

I loved these old telephone boxes.....we were lucky and had one around the corner from our house whilst growing up as no phone at the house......

Would have been interesting working this phone system lol

Very interesting time we had......

Off down a dirt road which thankfully was ok.......

Lake Mannus, nothing exciting but hey......we are tourists lol

And back to Henry Angel where there were HEAPS of cockatoos.......Lucy you would have loved to be there ☺☺ and boy were they LOUD.......

Looking back to Winnie while I was stalking the cockatoos.....

Toilet block in the distance......

And a little bridge for us to walk across the creek to the loos......

Squawk Squawk lol.......but we loved staying here despite the loud screeching and will again.....
Great little town is Tumbarumba and had never known about it......
We filled again with fuel and a few more supplies ☺☺
May you still be enjoying our catchup posts......xoxo
