TORNADO AND THE FLYING SCOTSMAN

Now our road tripping took us to near this......we stayed at Bromsgrove spa resort (sounds fancier than it was lol) so would be easy to visit ☺

and yes you guessed it STEAM TRAINS, well the title of post gives it away lol

This is Tornado
The last of the renowned Peppercorn class ‘A1’ steam locomotives was scrapped in 1966, but, as you can read on this website, a brand new ‘A1’, No. 60163 Tornado, has been brought to life in Darlington.

Flying Scotsman snuck past wonderful and of course many keen to see

and then along came The Flying Scotsman further info here, so much history of this engine

Yes I was as excited as everyone else

and over the 3 days in this area we dropped by so I could see again and again ☺☺

sssssssss  Tornado

hope I am not boring you and this is Tornado again 60163

They were making trips all day a couple of times a day back and forward

We went to Bridgenorth which was the end of the trip and waited with the crowd to see Flying Scotsman 60103 set off ♥
Bridgnorth is a town in Shropshire, England, situated on the Severn Valley. It is split into High Town and Low Town, named on account of their elevations relative to the River Severn

Whistle blowing and steam hissing

Off it goes

On our last day waited at the track

to see Scotsman flying backwards......not the same but hey....

Goodbye

Well now next post will be another fun one
Take care out there xoxoxo
