Daintree and Crocodiles

Yes us again.....keeping up with trip posting.....so Yesterday got on the road to Daintree More info and some nice sea alongside

Sent this pic to my boy Rex

Nice trip to enjoy

Now based here for 2 nights

Yep Crocs

Nice unpowered setup near river

Neat little village with Pub too

Looking over to Daintree River which has many floods....
The average annual rainfall in the Daintree rainforest is approximately 2000mm (79in) per year. Some areas have even recorded up to 9000mm (345in) in a single year. The wet seasons is between December and March. Over 60% of the rain falls during this wet season.

So plenty of rain

We booked a River trip

Woody came along too

Cruise Selfie

This Croc was just across the River opposite where we are staying

Nice going along

Wildlife/birds of Daintree   think these are white Egrets

So beautiful here and hot lol

This was a female Crocodile

And check this male one out.....HUGE

Close enough I reckon

Log up in tree is where flood level has been.....

A lovely blue Kingfisher I got with me zoom camera

This tree area in Vanpark shows how high water has been and damage done
Well that is it for another yesterday.....
Back with more tomorrow I think xoxo 🐊🐊🤔🤔😀😀

  1. Wow.. those are some big crocs! We have alligators here. Big mean critters. I'm glad you're getting to see places you've never seen. You two are so adventurous. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
