Painted Hills and Lake Eyre from a plane 🌏🛩🛩🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

This morning the view out from alongside Winnie.....find a tree 😁😁

Later after lunch we headed off to the airfield....feeling cool so wore our coats

So many colours on the ground

Not easy taking pics especially when holding Woody.....was bumpy and twisty due to winds 🤤🤤

After an hour we then headed in another direction 😀😀

Heading towards Lake Eyre....the south side is currently dry and salt pan and yes salt water after fresh water comes from floods of other rivers.

Can be teaming with fish and wildlife

Pilot was a young girl who had been flying for 5 years....all the way from Czech 
Glad we did this and enjoyed a stiff drink 🎢🎢
