Special Granny Stripe finished and final pics while away

Its finished and with plenty of time to spare and I am very happy with this bright happy blanket.

This is the Granny Stripe pattern as said before from Lucy at attic 24-granny-stripe.html and I ended up doing 2 rows of  HDC (half double crochet) around the edges.

It is almost single bed or good for cot, car and any fun times on floor.

Getting ready to say goodbye to Lakes Entrance and all the lovely Pelicans.  Was doing a few test shots with my new camera and this was taken from one side of Northern Arm with the zoom to get in closer to these guys.
Here is a sunnier shot of the Entrance but the trees get in the way lol. And this is one of the highest lookout parts here ☺

Imagine living in that house surrounded by sea and lakes, great fishing eh?
Now this photo is a test for the camera's zoom. This shot was taken with no zoom and if you look at the left of the little tree on the edge of the grass just past the fence, you may see a tiny little white boat.

Here it is with full optical zoom and a bit of digital zoom, neat eh. Can now see there is 2 men and the white boat has red trim. Loving this camera ☺☺
Well that's it for this holiday. We did play mini golf with a few snaps, but thought don't want to bore you all too much lol. Take care and for those I will see in person I will be home soon ☺☺

  2. Hi there, I popped over from the one a day group on Rav. Your blanket is gorgeous. Love the bright colours. Lovely pics too. I live a little north of Lakes Entrance in Northern NSW. Surrounded by lakes and beaches a bit like that house up there. :-) I often imagine living in the countryside. LOL The grass is always greener hey?
