Soup and another top made

The weather has been a bit cooler so I thought it would be great to make a soup out of one of my favourite books

Chose this one which I have not made before

The ingredients with some homemade chicken stock that the man often makes with the carcass from roast chicken and some celery bits as no celery seeds

All in and cooking nicely and a real easy soup too

Gave it a mix with my bamix and this was one lovely soup and no need for pepper as there was a bit of chilli flakes added and a hint of salt....I have now put comments in the book so I know it is a good one to make ☺

Ah yes I have made another top and wonder what my Mum will think of this one lol

This strange Granny (me) likes different clothes....it is quite a warm top as the skeleton material is a fuzzy fleece type with the sleeves and back just plain black interlock.
Good to be doing some cooking and sewing...now to continue with that sock.....

  2. Your soup sounds so good! I'm constantly trying (or inventing) new soup recipes. I love soups because you can throw in whatever you've got! Love that top, you're a rockin' Granny. :)
