Onto Neils camping reserve near Walwa and beyond to home

Yep back again and saying goodbye to those cockatoos.......we headed off to our next place to stay....

Doing the tourist thing along the way......

• Crashed in the Snowy Mountains in 1931, but not discovered until 1958

After the Southern Cloud crash, it was recommended that radios be installed in all regular passenger planes, so weather forecasts could be conveyed to pilots while they were in the air. Good out of the bad.......

We then arrived at Neils Reserve camping and it is on the lovely Murray river.......Neils-Reserve-camping-area info......

Beautiful cool river.....it was stinking hot in and out of the Winnie lol 

so close to the river ☺

We even got our bathers out......  

and even had a dip or 2 in the river to cool off......

It was flowing fast......

Very fast so we did not venture in too far.......

Beautiful cool breeze when the wind blew....

We even plugged this fan into the 12 volt system via an inverter......nice....

Woody sure was enjoying himself....

This sheep came down to have a drink on a very precarious spot......

Slipped but managed to save itself with a lot of loud baa baa happening lol 

It found its friends back up the top.....

Then they came down a safer spot and all enjoyed a drink....

Ah much better.....

We headed for what was going to be our last night to free camp at Anglers rest and we have stopped here before on-road-with-winjana 2014 the hotel the blue duck is shut mon/tues and of course we were here tues, but that is ok we had a good meal made by us.....the man relaxing

And yeah this is how helpful woody has been, thought he could drive us home lol 

dash passenger instead.....we travelled back to home but found it was stinking hot 37 so decided we were not unpacking yet and went up into some hills again not far from us and found this.....

A farmstay type place which they allow you to park for the night or 2 and if you eat in their restaurant all good.......must be self contained too...link here as I did not take any pics, but the meal was great....called Cafe Escargot and yes I even ate snails and they were delish.....the man had 1 lol

Well this is the end to our trip and back to normal life at home, out and about.....
