Making bread and other things

Well easter is over and we are all staying home as much as possible. Hello my family and friends ❤❤❤🙋‍♂️ I decided to make us a few easter buns a week ago.

Made these tasty 8 buns and enjoyed 1 each and froze the others....but of course now all eaten 😀😀

Some lower carb eating is still happening....steak and a cabbage stirfry side dish

Burning incense helps in the evenings

Woody is happy and enjoying that Sophies Universe that I started in Jan 2015

Some nice prawns for me one morning

There is Sophie a few more parts to go and currently round 95 😀😀

Thought I would take a few backyard snaps on one of the sunny days here.....exciting washing 🤣🤣

Looking towards our home and plenty of herbs

The lemon tree is going crazy with growth 🍋🍋

On our daily walk we walk under this tree a few doors down from our home.....if you look hard or zoom in you will see a red headed bird amongst the flowers.....a Gang Gang male cockatoo Info here  🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Look how quiet the streets were on Good Friday

Being good staying home except for exercise

Very very quiet

Decided to try a gingerale scone recipe.....real simple and easy

Tasty and froze some and we still have 4 left 😀😀

Throughout the world some are putting rainbows and teddies in their front windows....I have a rainbow teatowel of sheep and assorted softies.....the little ones love to see on their walks

Continuing watching Michael Portillo train journeys

I looked out our spare  bedroom window and spied something on the little tool shed roof......

A black kitty

Zoom and a knock on the window 😀😀😀 of course it ran off when I went out....a few ferals down the road

And more bread baking continues

More TV viewing with Woody and me hooking

And an extra special visit for us.....Pauls granboy Jaylen....an essential visit as they had been unable to get nappies, wipes and various other items where they live...A drive for us and not a long visit and lots of distancing except a brief hold of this bundle.....now 6 weeks old

Cuddle

He seemed to like Granpa

Old Granny love

A few distant shots with my zoom ❤❤

He is a little red head too

And puss came to say hello.....Julia's kitty

We watched Michael Portillo doing the Rocky Mountain trip so we reminisced our 2018 trip

Obviously enjoy these shows

The local pool is still having plenty of workers active

I ordered this book.....it is fiction but includes so much about North Queensland and its involment in WWII The details we never were told about till decades later.....and we saw on our Oz trip last year

A couple of silly Woody snaps and Paul ❤❤

So today is Friday and miss our families very much ❤❤
Keep safe and hope you enjoyed my silly blog diary xoxo

  1. Ohh.. how nice that you got to see the new baby and help them out in the bargain. I agree that missing our family is the worst part for those of us stuck at home. But we have to do it to slow the spread of this virus. So many people have died - 145,533 worldwide so far. ((hugs)), Teresa
