Woody was set again for more road travel as we left Cobar
Now Part 4 of trip way back 17th November lol
We stopped at Fort Bourke Hill lookout but closed
But did see a little bit lol
Goats in the mine area
Zoom across
Sort of lookout
Yep Goats again
Us parked down the hill
Goodbye Cobar
Many trucks on our way called Road Trains
We arrived in Cowra and heard that the Lachlan River had risen days earlier
There was debris in trees and paths underwater still
No walking here
We stopped for 2 nights near showgrounds
$20pn even with power and amenities
Nice and roomy
We did a few walks and snapped this church
Good path walking past
We also walked over the bridge above the river
Sunken table
Thursday morning we enjoyed omelette in the van
A nice tour day checking a lookout
View to Cowra town
Grateful for good weather
We then had a good walk around here
Huge and stunning
Lovely looking back down
So many Koi and baby ducks on rock
They were going crazy
Many bonsai
And a little sausage dog
Garden selfie
More ducks and fish
We then went to war memorial area
More info here
And we sure watched out on our walk here
Building remnants
Flags changed often in this park as respect
The moon was looking good with the street light
Another walk across the bridge and Lachlan River
Back again tomorrow with Part 5
🙋♀️🙋♂️🤠😀
Y'all look happy. Love your hat!
ReplyDeleteRising rivers are scary. The ducklings on the rock are adorable. I wonder if the koi try to nibble their feet.
Thankyou Yes I did see some nibbling happening lol
