Hello family and friends
Lots of rain fell last Friday
So garden was happy again
We even enjoyed home lettuce in our burgers
Anyone else watched this series from the 80's
Sad I am rewatching to fill my days 🤣🤣
Anyway FOOD as usual big here
Enjoyed our low carb platter lunch
Dinner Paul enjoyed Chicken Caesar salad using that lettuce
I enjoyed Prawn stirfry
So Sunday was Pauls 66th birthday so we headed out
To Julia's home and Puss greeted us with her tongue
Much better Puss
Mr Lincoln loved seeing us
Chris and Jaylen busy
Enjoyed a lunch out at nearby pub
Plenty of safe seating here
Maybe he wanted a beer lol
The young pair enjoyed Parma
Paul had mixed grill salad and chips
I just had mixed grill
Very nice
Tuesday I marinated some Pork and we enjoyed
Very nice with stirfry cabbage
Wednesday we noticed Apples looking like this........
With my trusty zoom camera got this pic
And the culprit 🐦🐦 Rainbow Lorikeet
So we now have this to possibly deter
Hanging high and so far ok
Magpies have tried to attack 🤣🤣
Back to food
And yesterday cooked a batch of simple cookies
NOT low carb
We had a drive to a nearby town and checked out the butcher shop
Delicious cheeses and these plain Beef snags and Chicken Kiev snags
Will be hot and tasty
Nice purchase and will visit again and also shop at the wool shop
Ladt night I cooked up Butter Chicken with Tomato Onion side
Last night went Southern Aurora hunting but left to early
All happened after 11.........
Today a haircut
Last cut was in April 2021
Feel new 🤣🤣😃
Today we also had a drive to nearby lookout
Mount Tassie
View across
Zoomed on 1 of the power stations here
And a few hikes we could go on but very lengthy 😀😀🏃♂️🏃♀️
Lovely area though so maybe a short walk when not raining
May this find you all happy and well
Off to another birthday tomorrow
Take Care Out There xoxoxo
You take the best photographs of food! Every dish looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteThe boyz are as adorable as ever. Neat haircut, looks good on you.
Sorry about you apples. Would one of those nets I see over cherry trees help?
