City fun and steam train xmas

Hello again 😀😀 been busy wrapping presents as I finish them...We are seeing some of our kiddo's before xmas so I must be ready lol 

We enjoyed that roasted tomato soup again last week

And hooking something while watching British Railway Journeys 

We caught the bus back to the city on Thursday (car left in city) as car was going to have a service and we had friends to meet up  with on Friday 

I have done a bit of xmas decorations at the city pad 

We have our mini tree and xmas train ready 

Butlers mirror all decorated 

Even the spare bed too 

And name your poison dragon at the ready 

Our front door 

Saturday we had Paul's 2 boys coming and a girlfriend. So we had our gifts ready 

Thursday night we watched the final episode of "The Last Kingdom" 

The building had put up the xmas tree Friday and actually another on Saturday 

My dear friends Lanie and Loo Loo 

And their hubby's both Marks lol 

Friday night went back to watching Doc Martin..... and Saturday we had fun with the sons and girlfriend and took NO PICS.....oh well 

But look.....one of my gifts now hangs on the wall....Thanks Jess and Jase 

And a skull candle burner on the table ready 

On Sunday we went to this station for a special outing with those 2 cuties 

Yes a steam train way up the front.....

Oh look Cooper loves Granpa....but Granpa was not going on the train. He was going to film it go past later 

Ray, April and lovely Lauren.....the kids wanted Granpa to stay but it was okay 

A booth all to our selves

They got a lollypop each.....April said Santa can go home now 😂😂😂😂

Went to a park nearby and Cooper loved the swing.....

Well another post done and gearing up for xmas fun ahead.

Back home for a few appointments, today was DENTIST and thank goodness all good.....sigh of relief always lol xoxoxo take care out there 

A tram museum and friends

Yes more granny square stuff happening here.....how is everybody out there. I have 2 faithful followers who comment and real nice to hear from them ♥  Anyone else game to comment lol 

On Friday we caught a train back to our city place 

Tea out at a pub called The Nixon and Paul had a lovely burger.......no he hardly ate the chips and half a bun

Me yes, well wings as usual 

On Saturday we caught a tram 

To this area and just look at all those tram lines and wires.....neat church too 

Open day so we thought why not ......

So many wonderful old trams here

I road many of these in my early years as we lived close to where they ran into the city.....very fond memories of visiting my friends and also going into the city to work as a teen 

The signs indicating which route they did and able to be changed with a turn 

Rumour has it a tram is as heavy as 30 Rhino's so you don't want to be hit ☺☺

Really neat and I have been on the tourist one in Bendigo 

Sure have been a great service in Oz and certainly Melbourne ☺☺

We then went to the movies in Gold Class to see "Avengers Infinity War".....stupid ending lol 

Brenton dropped round in the night 

And was a bad influence on Woody lol 

Sunday morning Woody noticed a police officer booking a lady driver 

And we went out to lunch with these dear friends.....Paul, me, Lanie, Looloo, Mark and Mark lol

Back home and yep still on this large granny fun at night 

Last night we had deconstructed burger for tea.....no bun and yum 

Krusty as I call him on facebook without all the hair he use to have.......

Well today we plan to go see that new movie "Solo"
