Questacon and on we go to somewhere else

Well now on to Tuesday we visited Questacon and they had these neat shadow cutouts outside 

With over 200 educational and interactive exhibits, Questacon seeks to make science fun for all and here is a link for more info QUESTACON

They had a very large neat water feature 

we started on the 4th floor via lift and you can walk the whole way down via large ramps 

they had a neat colour room and amazing what happens with your eyes as you stare at different things 

this lightning happened every 15 mins and heaps of school kids did the countdown from 10 very loudly lol

this entertained us, think we would love one of these ball rolling things at home ☺☺

we both had a great day here and Paul loved playing around with all of the experiments

Telstra tower and Reptile park

Ok here we are on our 2nd part of Monday and you never know when you might want to have a camp fire.....so we take a bit of kindling 

and some small logs on our journey.......but this time not used but that is okay as there is always next time ☺☺

so after the zoo we then headed to the telstra tower info here Telstra is one of the phone company's here in Oz.....

we went up in the lift 

and climbed some stairs to the next level 

as you can see it was a little bit windy lol

back to the level where you were behind windows.....our ute is way down there 

beautiful day for viewing 

well worth being up here for sure ☺☺

good old red post box........we then headed on to another tourist place 

and this place of course is full of reptiles.....eek

salt water croc full grown......we found out later he was someones pet..........and they had to give him up once he got a little big.....crazy, imagine this living in your home.....

plenty of terrapins 

and oh dear......many snakes.....water bath supplied so they can shed their skins.....

and yep another.....think this one was a brown snake.....you know here in Oz we have 7 of the 10 most deadliest snakes in the world.....want to come visit........

this one sure was wanting to shed some skin........

diamond python which we both had a little pat of........

olive snake 

young lace monitor....they end up about 1-2 metres and yes patted this one too.....also a baby salt croc, nice soft skin but stay away from the biting end lol 

black cockatoo with bright colours under the tail wings 

more lizards hanging out with turtles too 

well hello there 

a fantastic place to visit and with the hands on approach and wonderful guy full of so much info sure has us feeling better about the dangerous reptiles out there.....most of them are scared too.
