Coolangatta trip day 3 and where we are staying now

Day 3 we got to drive through lush forested areas and kept the sun out of our eyes for a little while at least.

Sugar cane!! Plenty of this growing and makes you realise how close to the gold coast you are getting. Plenty of banana plantations too, but not on the road we took this time.

Coolangatta and qld, and quite funny as one side of the road is NSW and this side is QLD.

The building in the middle is where  we are staying on the  15th floor. Magnificent 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms too and a full laundry facility and full kitchen. Only us but having good friends stay a night and my sister and bro in law coming for a day visit too ☺☺

Here it is and doesNOT look steep from this angle, but I can assure you it was quite steep a climb lol 

Pictures of the accomodation, the kitchen, dining and behind is also lounge area (not in pic).

The balcony off the main area where you can enjoy the view and of course a drink or two in the evening.

The guest accomodation with a seperate bathroom for their sole use too.

Obviously the laundry and mighty handy to have in the appartment.

The main bedroom, with mirrored doors which are the wardrobe and the open part is the walk in ensuite which uses one of the doors as a close off for privacy, very neat.
