Tuesday already again!!

Gosh yes Tuesday again already, but I have actually done a bit more on that lovely blanket. I am now thinking of having with the stripes up and down, so I don't have to make it completely double bed size as after all it is for a 5yr old little girl lol. Ah yes, won't take me as long that way and more single bed size. Thanks to gingerbread girl-carole for inspiring a lot of us ☺
Here it is and one of the ball's of Special DK from deramores yes enabling anyone to order from here lol.

As you can see it is very wide, so now with me going the stripes up and down the bed I am now working on the correct width instead.

And to break the boredom, decided to do a scarf with some sock yarn and you can check it at spring petals scarf on Ravelry if you are a member or here free pattern. And of course I have lots of other things on the go, all over the house ☺.
Over the weekend I went down to visit my Mum and also catch up with my daughter Sarah for the night there. Took no pictures of Sarah at all, even though I had my camera, but did take this snap of Mum and as she doesn't look at my blog she can't get mad at me for showing it lol

I think it is a great pic, but know she would think otherwise ☺  Also got to catch up with her granddaughter Meagan and hubby Peter and there very cute 3 kiddies, one a baby and yep, no pics taken with MY camera, oh well.   Hope everyone else had a great weekend and also those doing the one a day Tuesday are going well with their projects ☺☺

  2. Ha!
This is exactly what I did with my ripple blanket. It was meant to be a king sized blanket but hubby nicked it for when he dozes on the sofa so it turned 90 degrees and ended up a single bed blanket. I do intend to add the odd row here and there...then steal it back for the bed :)
