Yes, back again with more......Of course it just would not be me if I did not include photo's of aeroplanes......not seeing anyone off, just taking pics at Auckland airport viewing area ☺
Up, up and away......
While the youngsters went to the Zoo we spent a bit of time watching those aeroplanes and then visiting this park right next door to the zoo.....
Geese....
Even the odd gull......
Of course the Pukeko
Heaps of geese
Many black swans
Even pigeons thought they could enjoy this park too
Close up of course of the Pukeko, love these guys
The lake also had plenty of birds swimming around
Seagull having a rest, before young one's came running through
I thought this seat looked great with the colour of the tree next to it......
Lovely blue eye this goose had.....
The man surveying the lake as we walked across the bridge
Picnic tables were a plenty and as you can see right outside the fence of the zoo ☺
Plenty of bbq's too.....you could enjoy the zoo, come out cook lunch and go back inside....we may do that next time we actually do go to the zoo ourselves.....
The next lot of pictures are just random ones while out and about over the almost 3 weeks we spent in nz
An old tractor which still works at this museum.....
We also had a brief time while in Bay of Islands getting a snap of Gabriel the steam train....
No ride this time, just checking her out
Where the Hokianga harbour meets the Tasman
Took what I thought were some lovely photos ☺
My canon camera can sometimes work really well......
While staying in Mount Maunganui we saw this yarn bomber tree ☺☺
This is where we stayed for that week......the kiddie's had already flown back
The man enjoying the sea view
And look!!! At this accomodation we had a black kitty visit......
The man trying to help me get a good photo lol
Woody seemed to like the black kitty too ☺
Us 2 enjoyed many nights watching movies
Mount Maunganui itself.....more of it later....
Our decking......
Zoom out to the sea......
Final photo of that lovely kitty ☺ I miss having fur.......
And look we even went to Hobbiton....more on that later too ☺☺
We had a snack in "The green dragon" and an cider each too
Inside the "Green Dragon" Lord of the ring lovers would enjoy.....
Well, that is it for today and may be back again next day with another part....
take care and enjoy life xoxoxo
It still amazes me that we can fly...not quite like the birds, but fly none the less:) You captured many beautiful and fun sights in your photos, Wendy. Thanks for sharing them. The seascapes and the bench and the goose's blue eye are especially pretty; and you and Woody and The Man prompted me to :) :) :) xx
