Chilling out, sister visit and trip to the big city

Hello my family and friends......a bit of relaxing was in order last week so lit some candles and burned some incense and enjoyed ☺

We sometimes go to this little cafe for a coffee (me some herbal tea or veg juice) and maybe breakfast....anyway here are some more of their cute salt and pepper shakers.....peas in a pod ☺

Couple of donkeys.......

My sis Loo, came to visit so a walk down town to have pizza was the order for the night ☺
Marinara I had and so did Carl.....

The man had penne beef ragu....

Loo had some yummo olive pizza forgot its name lol

A little bit of red wine was also enjoyed lol

They have a new car and were very happy to show it to us.......

Next morning we took a 6+ klm walk return down town again and stopped at the bowls club for some water....Paul and Carl ♥

Wendy and Loo ♥

Another relaxing evening was enjoyed with this lovely candle (thank you Sarah) and a little sock knitting......

On Wednesday we caught the train to the big smoke (city Melbourne) info here which is a bit over 2 hour train trip for us....the man was having a hearing test early the following morning so easier to stay the night....

Started off quite empty but plenty got on and off along the way.....

That night we went to a Korean bbq place for tea......

bbq plates on every table.....and a selection of sauce/oil/salt....

Some red wine and water of course ☺☺

Seeing I snapped the man, well had to take a selfie as you do ....

Some vegie selections to share.....

Onion, potatoe, pumpkin, sweet potatoe, pineapple and garlic cooking....they put it on and come back to turn over till cooked....

Spring onion salad with chili and carrots, cucumber lettuce.....

Marinated beef getting cooked with mushrooms too.....

Marinated pork belly pieces waiting there turn...

All done and eaten and must say it was really delish and a neat change for us ☺☺

This area is called little-saigon and they put a boat sculpture to represent all the boat people who risked their lives to leave Vietnam and the communist problems.....
Plenty of fantastic places to eat here thanks to them ♥

Back on the train yesterday morning.....we really were happy lol

and on the way back we had to wait for another train to come past as part of the track closer to home is single......

  1. I bet you were in heaven taking a train trip! We should do that. Your BBQ dinner looked like a lot of fun. I bet you can't wait to see the baby again! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
