New Zealand trip begins 😀😀

Hello.....not our plane for NZ but will be this one when we fly to Europe in August ❤

Woody enjoyed watching planes land and take off 

He got thirsty waiting and just may have had a nip or 2 of something  to steady the nerves 😈

Once settled on board I noticed Labyrinth was on and I am a fan of David Bowie ☺☺

Woody was happy too.....

And he even had a vodka lol

Look there is Hoggle....good flight over to Auckland and landed at midnight....

Next morning we visited Terrence....Paul's Dad 😀😀

Enjoying a coffee

Father and son....he will be 85 on 16th May so taking him out for lunch next week  when we return.....

We are now in Bay of Islands and Woody keen to go out sightseeing today 😀😀and help us shop

We went to a farmers type market and saw these young pigs.....cute

We then visited a cheese place which we like and got a few 😀😀

These pigs were near the cheese place

and if you look under the ramp past the bigger pig you will see tiny baby pigs oink oink

A sheep with 2 new lambs....so white ❤

Had a lunch back at our accomo of cheese salad etc then headed to Kawaka where a small steam train runs on weekends.....

it runs up the main street....and this is a busy state highway so interesting mix lol oh and next weekend after we leave this area they have a puff and pull day......typical lol

train was over 30mins late due to pin unstuck between engine and carriages but managed to limp back......

coming along backwards.....I have taken many pics over the last 8 yrs of visits 😀

woody was exhausted lol

back for the night with plenty of fresh veg.....steak and salad tonight ☺

and the cheeses we got blue for me and very old gouda and edam to share
