Onto Eden

Only 2 more posts then up to date, or at the least up to Tuesday 11th July lol 

We headed towards Eden plenty of extra info here We stopped off at Bodalla to get ourselves some nice cheese.....and the vintage cheese is oh so creamy ☺

luckily we found a park big enough so that we could stop lol 

back on the road and cloudy with a bit of rain on Wednesday 5th July  

we booked ourselves in for 2 nights at "Garden of Eden" caravan park.....and we were down the unpowered section with just us ☺☺

with the toilets and camp kitchen very handy ☺☺ We found out that the local Fishermens Club had a courtesy bus so booked that to go out for tea.....it was cold and rainy lol 

and I ordered these lovely scallops baked in the shells.....low carb and delish ☺☺

Paul had a mixed grill and no did not eat the chips lol 

they had this great photo and a good reminder to me to come back to Eden to actually see the whales....best time October/November 

the following day Thursday was sunny so had a chance to do our weeks worth of washing to save me having 2 many loads when we got back ☺

we too a drive to checkout the lighthouse 

always love seeing these and of course the sea

looking out to sea always hopeful of a whale glimpse.....but at this time of year they go past way out 

sure has been many shipwrecks here hence the name but the lookout is wonderful 

beautiful blue sea.....we then drove back to the van park.....

and look.....a family was setting up right next to us......of all the 30 odd spots they chose right next to us!! And blocked the easier way out for us to use.........

so we hitched up and carefully drown around the trees and them to this neat spot......stayed hitched up ready for the morning ☺☺

we cooked tea in our turbo oven in the camp kitchen and while that was cooking we enjoyed more episodes of "Outlander" ☺♥

and woke to ice all over the grass on Friday 7th July.....we then drove back home as I was needed to do some Granny duties on Saturday ☺♥
