Friend catchup ♥

Yesterday we had a little trip to catchup with friends we have not seen in a YEAR lol 

We live roughly 90 mins apart but guess life/stuff had got in the way. 

A bit of hooking along the road 

And we arrived and met their son's dog a lovely Samoyed 

Their they are, Grace and Tony 

There little dog Cooper was very excited to see us as we even visited them when they lived in Queensland which is 2-3 day car trip away or flying. His memory is good ☺

Woody went out to lunch with us 

And a real nice selfie of the 2 of us ☺

We had a great lunch and came back to their house for a bit more fun chatting

Hello Grace ♥  We had such a good catchup and they are coming to our home in a few weeks to stay a night ☺☺

Relaxed last night under my lovely old crochet blanket made by my Nana ♥

Today I whipped up some almond milk.....rather easy to make....soak nuts in water for a day or 2.....discard water and then into bullet with fresh water buzz buzz.....then strain to get rid of skin pulp and there you have it.....

Paul was not a fan lol 

It tasted ok and used today in a seeded bread (low carb) and rather tasty....no pic taken lol 

Well back to the city we go tomorrow xoxoxo

Aussie and Granny fun

Yes, still living the LCHF dietdoctor.com/low-carb (good link here and many others if ya google it lol) way of eating for our life now and seeing good results both in our bodies and actual blood tests with our doc ☺☺

And here is Paul waiting to do something he had put off for over 30years lol 

Going to become an Aussie citizen 

After the pledge he then was given a native tree from one of the local MP's

and an Aussie flag from a local councilor's 

So now a dinky di Aussie Oi Oi Oi lol 

and has Oz passport now too ready for Europe trip ☺☺

I finished that hat which Paul will most likely wear while we are on a Europe trip very soon ☺☺

and as I mentioned in last post I caught the train down to Miss April.....this train can reach 160 klms so the trip can be pretty neat and as you know I LOVE TRAINS toot toot lol

Catching up here

Hello ☺  On our trips to visit Mum we go past this sign and it always gives us a chuckle......

Interesting the names for things that are out there these days ☺

Well as you know we are expecting a new grand baby and went to this fun gathering

This is only a small portion of the food that was on offer......

There is the happy expecting couple including small baby bump ☺

This little one is my son's friend's and she has amazing eyes ♥

I did not take enough pics of this gathering as was having such a good family fun time lol

We headed out the back to a park with some of the grandies and dogs 

They had a fun time running a LOT

I have been sewing too these past few days ☺
