During this past week

Well a whole week has gone by and I have been a bit crook but could be worse lol
Anyway here is Paul with a toy flying helicopter we bought on Friday while doing our walk

Its blades were spinning fast

Paul got it flying and you can just see it blurry on the window edge lol

Up in the air outside on Saturday

More fun flying......Paul has enjoyed playing with this but alas....yesterday it broke its blades.....says to only fly indoors, but the wall killed it....

We are still continuing our Star Trek Enterprise journey with me hooking along

I have made this cute bunny and trying to get on with another

On Monday we caught the train into the city and it was a lovely day

And look my girl came to visit and stay the night.....she gave me that batman necklace ☺♥

On the Tuesday we did a bit of washing

And later I had a lovely walk around with Sarah enjoying the day

And view along the Yarra River....you can see some kayaks coming up the river

Beautiful time on a lovely day.....she caught the train back home after us having a good Mum/Girl time ♥♥

Took this photo to show that we have a pool at the apartment.....This is taken from our front door looking down....water is not very warm but hey, still neat fun

Tuesday night we continued with Stranger Things

Wednesday we caught the train back

Woody enjoyed the fast view

Back home working on that other rabbit

And watching Great British Railways

Yesterday (Friday) I bought another batman t-shirt for me and it is purple ♥

Today on our walk back we spotted Gang Gang Cockatoos in a bush in our street and you can see the male and female together here

A closer pic of the female.....the male has a bright red head

A close up pic of my new necklace....thank you Sarah ♥
I am slowly starting to get better although still coughing and very croaky voice.....Doc gave me anti biotics so hopefully better by the time we fly this Friday ☺☺
May it be a good weekend for you all xoxo

A random catchup and grandie fun

Hello out there again.  Last week we had a night out at a local club for Paul's retired person group and ran into this dude......My sister in laws bro whom I have known since I was 17 and even went out with lol We had a good catchup chat

With the group we had a great meal......His was beef ribs which were huge.....

and my lamb ribs were tiny compared to his lol

On Wednesday Paul completed this puzzle, no pic taken lol It is good for the brain so he has been doing all sorts of puzzles ☺☺

Thursday we drove to the city pad and LOOK......NO HELIPAD.....it has been moved end off lease in this spot....now down opposite the casino where all the other ones land boo hoo. But we do see them fly past high up

Yes on Friday these 2 came to stay the night for Granny and Grampa fun.....they loved the little Thomas Tank engine train we had bought for here for them to play with ♥

Cuties enjoying a little snack

Mr Cooper turned ONE on Wednesday and he was having a party on the weekend ☺☺

Little Miss April looked okay but ended up a bit sick..........

Even Woody got involved and needed a bit of a wash too lol

No one was keen on an arvo nap so out for a relaxing walk we went

April enjoyed the rest ♥

Saturday morning this little man's eyes looked super blue ♥♥
Dad came to pick them up and left us for a restful Sat night

We took a stroll along the river

And also walked past a new area for us

Looking way back to where our pad is past that tall building.....
The following day (Sunday) we went to Cooper's 1st birthday......next post to follow ♥♥

City living and Grandies

Hello out there and belated Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate in their country.....I am thankful for the life I live and love of family all around and friends too
Well at the city pad no need to decorate as have 2 trees in the foyer all ready lol

nicely done

One of many sculptures we see on our many walks while we do our trips to the city

Yes Merry Christmas along the way

The evening sky was looking amazing on Thursday night

I worked a little more on that crochet blanket

We had lunch out on Friday and checked out "The Meat Market" and was pretty good.....you can see our little building way across the river in the middle

Another view of another outdoor restaurant

I did a lot of walking and a little shopping and walked back along the Yarra River and our building is between new building being built and the cranes

On of the helicopters was ready to take off......

Looking back across from the helicopter pad....yes our building ☺☺
helicopter taking off if interested ♥

Friday night we thought we would try this Thai Restaurant which is just around the corner from us

neat lighting

and can say the food was delish......no pics.....we were hungry lol

It started to look a little stormy again, but going past in the distance

Some Solar powered ornamental lights which we got from Aldi and looks rather xmassy on our ceiling lol

Storm passed and all looking good

On Saturday (Yesterday) we were expecting to special little ones for the day/night ☺☺ and the toys were ready ♥♥

Oh yes Mr Cooper

And little Miss April

Granpa assisted with the 2 pushers on our walk before their naps

April being a big girl sleeping in a trundle (single bed) and she loved it ♥

Cooper enjoyed a relaxing time after his nap

and so did little Miss

look at those blue blue eyes ☺

In the afternoon we went for another walk

We went to the station to hopefully catch a glimpse of steam train

Our building again

Cooper was loving the trains

April made sure Woody was enjoying too lol

Way off in the distance behind the blue/silver train is the STEAM TRAIN.....stupid public trains lol

We at least got to see the end STEAM TRAIN going backwards Toot Toot......They both loved seeing all the trains ☺♥

On our way back to the city pad we stopped near the Helicopter pad......

and they got to see one take off......such happy kiddies

Today, Sunday April had a bit of fun putting one of my crochet squares on Cooper's head....Sister love ♥♥

Just look at that excited face as she again watched the helicopters land and take off.....something that happens most days here ☺☺

Just a cute little clip of her
We are now back home (Country) and a little tired but so enjoyed having these cuties with us.
Love to you all out there from US xoxoxo
