Bathroom renovation continues ☺ oh such a mess lol

Hello again and no the man is not outside smoking some chicken or fish.....the plumber has arrived and the smoke is concrete dust....

He is using this concrete cutter which I only took a picture of through the screen door

Mr Hart, what a mess......

You can just see his gumboots covered in lots of mud....

Ah yes a bit of concrete dust as he attacks the inside of the bathroom...

There is the hole he had to cut, to get at the old pipes and install an extra toilet (the pipe you can see) in our bathroom, so we will have 2 toilets, one via the laundry ☺

Big mess but all good and I even cleaned those muddy boots for him later and the man cleaned up broken concrete and took that to the place to dispose of...

Inside the bathroom as of late yesterday, holes and dust ☺☺

A hole where the shower plumbing will be put

And that new loo pipe

With the flash looks a bit better but you can sure see all that dust.....needless to say I showered in our van early this morning ☺

He is back today (Tuesday) doing more pipe work and removing those floor tiles....

The man however has had to suit up with an approved asbestos gear pack to removed those sheets from the old shower area and he is just finishing that now while the plumber collects a few bits of timber etc, while I do this post

I on the other hand made a great beef and mushroom lasagna for us to have for tea last night and now have 6 pieces in the freezer for another day ☺

Today when we went to the shire council to pick up the asbestos stuff we saw these beautiful sunflowers in their garden.....

So many and so cute ☺☺

And yes I am still SLOWLY working on that Sophie's Universe....
Thank you for the great comments and for dropping by too.
xoxoxo ☺☺
Oh and happy 90th today to this lady, my Mum.....seeing her Sunday ☺

  1. Happy birthday to Mum! She looks beautiful. I'm having flashbacks about my bathroom renovation 10 years ago and it's a little scary! Ha. It looks like you're having good progress. It will be so worth it when you're all done.

  2. *H*A*P*P*Y* * *B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y*!*!*!* to your Mum! Tell her I send greetings from Oregon, USA! Gads.. that is a huge mess but I know it will all be much nicer in the end. Again, I wish my spouse could do a remodel like that! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
