And yes it continues...............

Ah hello, look the floor is ready for some more dirty walking up and down the hallway to that bathroom reno......

Bath taps at the ready

The man and plumber have been working together on the next part....lots of noisy cutting and sawdust....

A frame ready for the bath to go in....when Bunnings actually have our bath available.....

Going to have a new tastic heater/light/fan here

From the hallway looking through the temporary plastic wall....this of course saves on having too much dust in the rest of the house.....

Concrete sealed over for where the shower will be when......yes  Bunnings have that available.....

Look at that man go with filling in a hole under the bath area with concrete....

You may notice the old tiles will still live under the bath but the rest of tiles have now been removed ☺

Back in the hallway looking towards where the old toilet door was and now going to be the walls of the bath......this was Wednesdays work

And just now today (Thursday) they got together to do the walls with waterproof Gyprock Aquachek and you may notice we now have NO window, this is temporary as the window we ordered is not here yet so lets hope CAN fit it from the outside....

Going to have laminate too around the bath area once we pick what ever we are going to have.....already have in mind what I would like on the floor.....A plasterer is calling in to let us know when he can do a bit of work but other than that may not be any more updates till next week....let's hope the shower at least can be here ASAP....I have vacuumed the house so many times this week and washed floors, exhausting lol but all good ☺☺

Oh how sweet the man is holding Sophie's Universe, just completed part 5, only 5-6 weeks behind ☺

And a present is wrapped for my grandboy who just turned 16 (I feel old) and reckon he will laugh at the paper I chose lol

Mum's gift is all wrapped too and will give it to her Sunday....cute cupcakes on this lovely paper.....
Well it has been a busy time here and look forward to sleeping in eventually...
Take care out there xoxo

Bathroom renovation continues ☺ oh such a mess lol

Hello again and no the man is not outside smoking some chicken or fish.....the plumber has arrived and the smoke is concrete dust....

He is using this concrete cutter which I only took a picture of through the screen door

Mr Hart, what a mess......

You can just see his gumboots covered in lots of mud....

Ah yes a bit of concrete dust as he attacks the inside of the bathroom...

There is the hole he had to cut, to get at the old pipes and install an extra toilet (the pipe you can see) in our bathroom, so we will have 2 toilets, one via the laundry ☺

Big mess but all good and I even cleaned those muddy boots for him later and the man cleaned up broken concrete and took that to the place to dispose of...

Inside the bathroom as of late yesterday, holes and dust ☺☺

A hole where the shower plumbing will be put

And that new loo pipe

With the flash looks a bit better but you can sure see all that dust.....needless to say I showered in our van early this morning ☺

He is back today (Tuesday) doing more pipe work and removing those floor tiles....

The man however has had to suit up with an approved asbestos gear pack to removed those sheets from the old shower area and he is just finishing that now while the plumber collects a few bits of timber etc, while I do this post

I on the other hand made a great beef and mushroom lasagna for us to have for tea last night and now have 6 pieces in the freezer for another day ☺

Today when we went to the shire council to pick up the asbestos stuff we saw these beautiful sunflowers in their garden.....

So many and so cute ☺☺

And yes I am still SLOWLY working on that Sophie's Universe....
Thank you for the great comments and for dropping by too.
xoxoxo ☺☺
Oh and happy 90th today to this lady, my Mum.....seeing her Sunday ☺

Cooking and family visiting fun ☺

Welcome back, on Friday I decided to whip up a batch of M&M cookies/biscuits as we were going to have visitors for lunch ☺☺

I put in a little too much M&M's so the next batch will do half

The recipe made roughly 40 cookies and if I made them a bit smaller would be HEAPS....going to make some more too because the van group we belong to, there is one guy who LOVES these so going to knock up some more to take on our little trip next week ☺☺

I also made this garlic and rosemary cob style loaf to have with the BBQ we were going to be having with those visitors ☺☺
I also boiled up some spuds to bake on Saturday as they crisp up real well just with some olive oil spray, quite healthy, these are also some low Gi spuds ☺

And had these wings marinating for a few days in my own concoction of mix to be also cooked in the oven, to have along side some BBQ steak and salad ☺☺

Some more birds have been drinking from my water dish, but not very colourful....

Where have all the fun bright coloured birds gone? Hope they appear here soon ☺

And LOOK yes my girl came to visit for the lunch on Saturday and look how tiny she looks next to my big sunflower ☺

She is about the same height as the smaller one lol

There is grand boy number 2

And my girl's guy who is quite tall himself but dwarfed by this beauty lol

A lovely group shot of the awesome foursome who traveled 160 klm's to spend the arvo with us ☺☺
A bit of attacking/friction went on with number 1 grand boy (who did not want to be photographed with the sunflower lol) and number 2

Hence why in this pic number 2 does not look happy lol We love all of these guys ♥

And me with them and they look happier separated by Granny and their mum lol

Good to get a couple of photo's....and grand boy 1 is so tall now!

And could not forget the man himself who was barbecuing the onion/snag/steaks....which was all fabulous and everyone ate heaps, did not get any photo's of the cooked up food as we were having too much fun with the family ☺
It has been a great weekend here, how is it at our place?
See you all again soon xoxo
