One a day Tuesday again already!!

Gosh another week gone and getting closer to, dare I say XMAS!!! Talk about getting older even quicker lol.  Anyway here is my progress for this week, it is getting there and loving the colours myself.
So the one a day Tuesday which the lovely gingerbreadgirl-carole got a lot of us doing. Me being almost a day ahead here means hers won't show till late today or tomorrow.

And here it is on our spare queen size bed, a bit shorter which is okay as is for 5yr old but I think I may be a little bit more than half way as remember I am now doing with the stripes up and down the bed, although it never matters how you have a rug on you as long as it keeps you warm.

Closer shot of those lovely colours from deramores stylecraft special dk.

Still no chance to mow as when I had the chance it rained and when it wasn't I was involved  with car trips up and down with grandson and family, oh well eventually, although it is getting very thick. But you can't see the water/squelch/mud that is lurking under those pretty daisy's.
Well, now I better get on with that blanket although of course have heaps of other things on the go, I have a problem......lol lol ☺♥

  1. I agree Wendy. The colours you're using are lovely. I'm kind of jealous of your daisies. My hubby is a gardener and our lawn wouldn't be allowed a daisy even if it wanted to! Maybe I should make a green, white and yellow blanket to remind myself what I'm missing :)

  2. I know the feeling of not being able to mow at the times needed due to rain. Our grass at Cranberry Cottage was too wet to mow last weekend and will be hard to do so when we get there again. *sigh*

Love your striped blanket! Are you making it large enough for a queen size bed? That will be a large blanket then.
