Fun weekend visit to our house

Hello!! Look I actually completed something lol a nice face washer to add to my gift giving draw ☺

My best friend Lanie and Mark were coming to our home to stay 1 night and assist her daughter with child minding. She, Fiona and her Matt had a good friend's wedding to attend and it was not far from our home so they were going to stay here for 2 nights ♥ A roughly 2 hr trip for them to us.

Look at this dear bundle of joy.....baby Patrick and he is enjoying my old crochet blanket ☺  My Nanna made this over 5 decades ago ♥ 

Short story......his Mum and Dad came on the Friday night to stay and crazy events happening with them. They were in need of some extra sleep on Saturday morning so we had the delight of watching over him for a few hours ☺☺so sweet

This is Matt holding baby Patrick and he is married to my bff daughter ♥

Later on Saturday these 2 arrived......Mark and Melanie doing a grand job of grand parenting lol 

Pa and Nanny 

They had been looking after this little one, Scarlett.......and she came to visit us for the night and we had a bit of fun setting up my crazy dolls for a cute snap lol 

Her Mum and Dad had gone to the wedding with baby brother and left us Grands having lots of fun ☺

Such a sweet little girl with lovely dark brown eyes and reddish curly hair ☺☺

And look she really seemed to take a liking to Paul lol

And here is the only photo I got of her Mummy, Fiona.......she was busy with the Wedding being a bridesmaid and late night. And early Sunday morning going to a breakfast.....

The  young parents and kidlets left for their breakfast meetup....my friends left just after and have now gone home to attend an afternoon birthday gathering back down their way.....2 hr road trip.....reckon we will all sleep well tonight lol 

And we found this little Rooster had been left behind......Good reason for either another catch up or just simply put in the post ☺☺

How has your weekend been? Yesterday (Saturday) was not too hot, but today is shaping up to another run of HOT days......

This Granny is going to be visiting and helping out with baby April on Tuesday so more fun times ♥

Some more visitors and us doing a lot of driving

Ah here is the man's daughter Missy with her Scottish friend.....she had spent more than 6 month OS and when she came back this fella flew all the way from Scotland to surprise her for her birthday ☺☺

We shouted them out for tea as part of her birthday....I had the surf and turf small pizza...

The man had Mexican chicken pizza with jalapenos 

Missy had Rib eye steak and mash

Scotty had a mixed grill and had a fit at how much there was lol 

He did well though.....these meals were at La Porchetta pizza pasta place but do have a huge variety of other meals ☺

Not feeling hungry now eh Scotty lol 

Oh yes and there is that tongue of hers, she just cant help herself....

We had a good time and they stayed the night and headed off home again ♥

We had another meal out, and this time it is with the man's ex and current work colleagues.....they get together every 2 months and I joined last time and had fun so went again.....here we are with all our friends lol.....just us ♥

The rest of the mob were over there near the bar and having a good time....

The man ordered the snag and mash and the snags are from a popular little butcher shop here and he enjoyed very much

I had the fish mix and it was yummy, but I did remove most of the batter, trying to be good ☺☺

On our way home in a taxi I saw the full moon and had to snap ☺

We have been doing a lot of driving down and back to see my Mum and that takes up a whole day a few times a week but worth it, but am feeling rather tired.....

Here is Woody hanging outwith my cat cushions.....he knows we are going to New Zealand soon and asked if he could tag along, so I reckon why not....a bit of fun with photo's.....

We also have my dear cousin's daughters wedding Sunday so after seeing Mum will head there for a good night ☺☺

The weeks/months are flying by and look forward to going away, but not the leaving Mum behind bit, but my siblings have all said just go....

Bathroom finished, birthday family visit and Mum

Hello there, here is how the bathroom looked before that renovation......we were happy with it, but oh my what a change now......

Extra loo and shower

Large bath which I am yet to soak in, but my 2nd grandson has and said it was awesome

The basin and shaving cabinet....thank you for watching this in progress and now finished ☺

I arrived back home on Saturday to this wonderful rainbow rose which the man bought me as a surprise and birthday too ☺☺

They apparently split the stem and put each part in food colour dye and leave for a day or 2 till the petals look like this ☺

Pretty neat and did make me happy as was needed......

Also on Saturday these 2 came for a visit and tea, how cute are they ☺

It is Trixie, the new puppy for my son and his wife ♥

A bit of fun wrestling went on.....

She even has been trained to roll over but that ended in a big blur......

It was real nice to have them visit as things are not that great at the moment, so have been typing this over the last week.....

I am putting this rainbow rose here again for my mum who was admitted to hospital last Friday and not doing real well.....but do know she would love this rose ♥

And I am going to have a long soak in that bath tonight ready for the next few days

Visitor, full moon and bathroom update

Well hello to the man's youngest boy.....he came for an overnight visit which was real nice ☺ He was quite impressed with the bathroom renovation too 

He was apparently happy to see his boy ☺

Noticed the moon was looking pretty full and you know me.....I love a good full moon ☺

Pretty neat and do like how my canon camera does pretty good photo's 

Last night (Saturday) was a blood moon so did my best, but this was as good as I could get.....

The window was getting put in here and even I helped to lift it up to install 

There is that massive shower head....

With the man's hand to show the size of this thing

After his shower, better than putting a snap on here of him in the shower naked lol 

We have the fixed shower head as well as the hose yourself type and it is fantastic!

We now have the door put on, so don't feel so exposed lol 

Just need to do the laminate around the basin and shower and put cupboard doors back on as well as the mirrored shaving cabinet which will have a power point inside it, you can see the red on the wall....that is where the power point will be

So far we are pretty happy with it and will be good once the floor guy comes back to finish too
